DJ + MC Rindge, New Hampshire

Camp Starfish wedding DJ.

I DJ'd and MC'd a 125-guest wedding at Camp Starfish in Rindge on October 10, 2026, from 4 to 10pm. A lakeside camp wedding runs differently from a ballroom, and I already know how this one flows. Packages from $2,000.

How the day ran.

How the day ran, from load-in to the last song.

  1. 2:00: load inAbout an hour and a half from Boston. Ceremony sound goes up first, then the reception setup.
  2. 4:00: guests arriveThe couple's four picks while guests found their seats, from Glenn Miller to Nat King Cole.
  3. 4:30: ceremonyProcessional, the bride's walk and the recessional, each on its own song and cued by the officiant. There's no power near the ceremony spot, so it all ran on a battery speaker and a wireless mic.
  4. 5:00: cocktail hourMusic on while I moved from the battery setup to the reception.
  5. 6:00: entrance and first danceThe entrance song was cued so the chorus hit as they walked in. Partway through the first dance, I invited everyone onto the floor.
  6. Toasts, then tacosBest man, maid of honor, then dinner from a taco truck with the music turned down.
  7. 7:15: the parentsShort parent dances, then each set of parents danced to the song from their own wedding.
  8. 7:30–10:00: dance partyThe couple's requests and a full floor, with their pick as the last song.

From the wedding

Chapel to last dance.

The ceremony in the chapel over the lake, on my battery speaker and wireless mic. Then the lodge, set up in daylight and uplit for the dance party. Photos and video stills from that day.

Getting married at Camp Starfish?

What to plan for.

Spaces

Chapel, lodge, field

The camp has a stone and wood-beam chapel over Lake Monomonac, a big wooden dining lodge, an outdoor stage, fields and a beach. Tell me which spaces you're using and I'll plan sound for each.

Power

Plan the ceremony on battery

There was no outlet within 50 feet of the ceremony spot. I bring a separate battery system with a wireless mic, so the vows still sound right. Ceremony sound comes with Premier and Ultimate.

Season

Fall Saturdays

Weddings there run from late August to mid October, so dates go early. Send yours and I'll tell you right away if I'm open.
